JULIE's first single reached number 2 on the Billboard charts in November, 1955

CRY ME A RIVER was included on JULIE's first album, JULIE is her name, as well as on the Cry Me A River extended play release.
 

JULIE IS HER NAME
JULIE's first album number 2 on the Billboard Pop Album charts in January, 1956

The album featured thirteen tracks backed by Barney Kessel and Ray Leatherwood; it was produced by Bobby Troup and released in November 1955.

 

LONELY GIRL
The second of JULIE's albums reached number 16 on the Billboard charts in August, 1956

The album, featuring thirteen tracks, was produced by Bobby Troup and released in 1956.

 

CALENDAR GIRL
Both Arthur Hamilton and Bobby Troup wrote new songs for JULIE's third album which reached number 18 on the Billboard charts in December, 1956.

The album featured a song for each month plus one more; Bobby Troup produced the album which was released with a special gatefold jacket in 1956.

 

ABOUT THE BLUES
JULIE's fourth album reached number 15 on the Billboard charts in July, 1957

The album featured the industry-standard twelve tracks backed by the Russ Garcia Orchestra; it was produced by Bobby Troup and released in 1957.


THE BOY ON A DOLPHIN
JULIE 's singing of this theme was uncredited in the film, but the song was released as a single in 1957 and was a charted hit in Italy.

THE MEANING OF THE BLUES, another film song, was the flip side number.  

 

MAKIN' WHOOPEE
First appearing on the KYA (1260, San Francisco) Hit Parade on November 30, 1959, the song peaked at number 37 on December 7, 1959.

COMIN' THRU THE RYE was the flip side of this JULIE single, released in 1959. 

It was also included on the Your Number Please . . . . album. 

 

BLUE MOON
Number 7 on the charts in South Africa in April, 1961

BLUE MOON was the flip side of JULIE's MAN OF THE WEST single in 1958. 

 It was also included on the JULIE is her name, Volume II album.

 

I'M COMING BACK TO YOU
Number 34 on the WLS [Chicago] Silver Dollar Survey for October 25, 1963.  WLS was the first station in Chicago to play this record.  

WHEN SNOW FLAKES FALL IN THE SUMMER was the flip side of this JULIE single, released in 1963.   

 

 

BUBBLING UNDER" ON THE BILLBOARD CHARTS

THE END OF THE WORLD [THE GOOD LIFE]
After fourteen successful but non-charted albums, JULIE's eighteenth album reached number 127 on the Billboard charts in June, 1963

The twelve-track album, released in 1963, included DESAFINADO which was also released as a single.

The photograph on the front of the album jacket is from JULIE's appearance on "The Eleventh Hour."

October 27, 1962:  reaching number 110 after five weeks on the "Bubbling Under" charts

DESAFINADO was released by as a single, backed with WHERE DID THE GENTLEMAN GO in 1962. 

It was also included on the 1963 The End Of The World album.  [This album is sometimes referred to as The Good Life.]              
 

THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF JULIE LONDON
JULIE's nineteenth album reached number 136 on the Billboard charts in November, 1963

The album, released in 1963, featured twelve tracks, including I'M COMING BACK TO YOU which had been released as a single earlier in the year.

August 31, 1963:  reaching number 118 after three weeks on the "Bubbling Under" charts

I'M COMING BACK TO YOU was released as a single, backed with WHEN SNOW FLAKES FALL IN THE SUMMER, in 1963.

It was also included on the 1964 The Wonderful World of Julie London album.

 

YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY
November 23, 1968:  reaching number 125 in its first week on the "Bubbling Under" chart

YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY was released as a single, backed with COME TO ME SLOWLY, in 1968.

It was also included on the 1969 Yummy Yummy Yummy album.
