J JULIE Recordings
In March, 1955, JULIE recorded four tracks for Bethlehem Records, but the unimpressed company executives declined to sign her for the label.   Si Waronker heard her sing at Johnny Walsh's 881 Club in Los Angeles and was so impressed that he immediately set about persuading her to record for his new company, Liberty Records.  JULIE agreed and her first recording of  Cry Me A River became a instant hit.  JULIE, referred to as The Liberty Girl, thus assured the success of the fledgling company and she remained with Liberty throughout her recording career
